The goal is to get better at wrestling by learning some great technique and then wrestling live. We will hold 2 sessions: the first session will be led by Coach Dave Habat and Elevates coaching staff. Coach Habat will be going over turns on top, drills on top and bottom and finishing with a little technique with neutral. The second session will be all live matches. We will determine how we want to structure the lives matches based on attendance.
This is a HS event only to make sure that there are enough partners for live. 8th graders may come with an exception if granted by a staff member from Elevate.
Our clinic is also being sponsored by Versakinetic who helped off set the cost of the clinic. They will be present at the time of the clinic to help inform wrestlers of the importance of recovery in our sport.
When:
Saturday September 20th
Arrive/check in: 9:30am -9:55am
Session I Technique: 10:00am - 11:30am
Break
Session II - Live: 12:00pm - 1:30pm
We will start the 2nd session with a 15 minute warm up
Bring multiple workout clothes and singlets +headgear.
After the second session we will leave the facility open for an additional 20-30 minutes for anyone who wants to go over positions, ask questions, get a lift in...etc.
