An excuse to wear ridiculous outfits, train, and compete against one another in a 16 man bracket!
Elevate Wrestling Academy will host an open mat(9am-10am) followed shortly by a single elimination, open weight tournament. We have 2 showers at our gym for post workout.
The tournament will follow a bracket, not to exceed 16 competitors.
If needed, a random “bye” system will be used to fill an incomplete bracket.
Elevate will charge a cash fee of $25 to participate in the open mat that takes prior to the tournament, participants may choose to donate more if they wish. ALL PROCEEDS will be given to the We Defy Foundation. A non Profit that helps with the financial burden of Jiu Jitsu for veterans.
Spectators and tournament competitors are free and encouraged to donate any amount they are comfortable with.
